some of the many things I like about summer:
1. salty skin and hair
2. little kids running away from the waves
3. kids jumping into waves
4. underwater handstands
5. everyone in a generally happy disposition
6. freedom, at least in high school and college
7. bright colored flowers
8. sun
9. picnics
10. beach volleyball
